Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios’ winning design for Three Chamberlain Square in Paradise, Birmingham

Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios has been given planning for its Three Chamberlain Square scheme at the £1.2bn Paradise Birmingham scheme.

Others working on the scheme include project manager and cost consultant Faithful & Gould, which is also principal designer, and civil and structural engineer Cundall.

The 185,000 sq ft building is part of the second phase of the Paradise job which is now being masterminded by developer MEPC, which took over the scheme from Argent last summer.

As well as Three Chamberlain Square, a series of new public squares and pedestrian routes through the development, designed by landscape architect Grant Associates, will also be built. Sir Robert McAlpine is close to completing another part of the second phase, the 17-storey One Centenary Way office building, which has been built on the site of the old Adrian Boult Hall conservatoire, and designed by Glenn Howell Architects.

The same practice is behind the 49-storey Octagon building, which is has acquired its name because of its shape, and which was also part of the Paradise scheme’s second phase.

But MEPC last year sold the tower to Singapore firm City Developments Limited which will now mastermind construction of the £110m scheme which is due to be completed by Midgard in 2025.

Paradise的前两个办公大楼已经开放,分别由Eric Parry和Howells设计,由Bam建造。

A 17-storey hotelat the Paradise development was given the green light by the council earlier this year. It has been designed by ISA Architecture & Design and Howells.
